(1) The university may award certificates and degrees to students, trainees or researchers who have obtained higher education in the specified subject and may award honorary degrees to persons who have done research and who have performed commendable work in the academic field.
(2) The university may recognize the academic degrees of any domestic or foreign university or educational institution and determine the equivalence and level of those degrees with the academic degrees of different levels of the university.
